We’ve been at home since the 20th March which has given us lots of time for redecorating, reading, sitting in the garden and walking lots!

HOWEVER…we have also been making plans and looking at how we will be able to enjoy having our many guests and friends return to the tearoom in safety and with confidence!

We made the decision NOT to offer a takeaway service as there are a number of issues surrounding this, and we would rather wait and be patient until we are able to do what we do best!

When we reopen on WEDNESDAY 8th JULY we will be able to offer a safe coffee/cake/ dining experience for everyone.

Below you can see some of our our plans for keeping us all safe and healthy.

Do keep well over the coming days and we look forward to seeing you in July and to serve you again.

We would love to stay in touch with any guests or friends so please do drop us an e mail, or give us a ring for a chat!

We have installed an automatic Hand Sanitiser at the entrance. You don't need to touch it - just put your hands underneath! There is also one by the restroom door.

Although we love our proper tablecloths, we will be using a wipe clean table covering which can be sanitised easily.

The table and chair backs will be sanitised with a viricidal spray containing 70% alcohol each time a table is used.

Between each table and access areas we have installed protection screens

In the courtyard, the floor has been marked out with distancing tape and floor markers to help keep safe.

We have reconfigured the layout of the tables to give more room to safely move around

ALL our guests will be asked to wait a moment whilst we ensure that the table has been cleaned and is ready for them

All of these measures have been put in place to ensure as far as possible that we can offer above all else, a place to come and enjoy each other's company as we always have, serving top quality food and beverages, and at the same time keeping everyone safe.

We're all learning this together so please do be patient and respectful of everyone else.

Whenever possible, we will be encouraging customers to pay using contactless cards or phone payment methods

We have amended the layout further to make accessing the restroom facilities safer for all

Our menus will be in holders and/or laminated to be wipe clean
